Paintings are a great way to decorate your home in Minecraft. They are rectangles in shape and add to the beauty of your home, making your home stand out. Plus they are pleasant to look at and come in a variety of sizes and designs. Paintings come in total 26 different designs and you might recognize some of them resembling real paintings or even other games. Kristoffer Zetterstrand’s paintings are referenced a lot in the paintings of Minecraft.
The paintings can be placed on any solid blocks. The paintings can be broken by a bow or a fishing rod. Moreover, they also break when the block they are resting upon, is removed. Minecraft gives you a total of one second before the painting breaks so you can replace the block behind the painting without destroying it.
